I got contacted by a recruiter after applying through an employee referral. The recruiter sent out an Online Assessment after a few days. I completed the assessment and a few days later the interviewer called me and said that the role I was applying for is now filled. This is a very bad interview process and Amazon, being such a large customer-oriented company, should value their candidates time as much as they value their time.

Interview scheduling was a mess. It was for Goodreads. Two different HR scheduled me for an interview who seemed like did not have any communication with each other. As a result, they scheduled my interview very spontaneous in utter confusion whether it is a call with recruiter or technical. I had no idea. I expected call with recruiter and it turned out to be technical. I certainly was not prepared for that.
