Candidatei-me por meio de recrutador(a). Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Backbase.
Entrevista
I went through interview process on weekend. There were 3 rounds. All rounds were conducted on single day and I cleared all rounds.
I didn't hear anything from anyone till next 3 days. I called HR for next step. But HR said you are rejected and reason was pretty stupid.
They rejected me because they were expecting a skill-set, which I didn't even mention in my resume.
I understand company looks for candidates which fits according to their requirement but this screening should be part of initial phase. They conducted all rounds and declared passed.
Then how can they reject me with this stupid reason. This put a negative impression of Back-base in my mind.

1.) Data-structure and Algo, Java, Spring, SpringBoot
2.) Spring, SpringBoot, System Design
3.) Project discussion, low level design discussion
The interview process consists of three different stages. Firstly, you can expect an HR check. Depending on your role, the next part would be the technical conversation or development task. The final stage is the DNA check with experienced managers/directors.
What I liked about the process is that it is not solely focused on technical skills but checks soft skills to the same extent. You have time to ask your questions and all interviewers are willing to provide you with honest answers.

Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 3 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela Backbase (Amsterdã) em jun. de 2022
Entrevista
The interview process was pretty straightforward to me. The steps:
Introduction call with recruiter -> technical assignment which is an offline code challenge -> technical interview with technical interviewer -> Culture and Values with engineer managers -> Offer

To me, one of the most difficult steps in the interview process was Culture and Values call. One of the challenging questions was: How do you cope with production issues as a team player/driver and what/how do you learn from it?
