      Entrevista

You first are contacted by a recruiter and they schedule you for a 30 minute behavioral interview. It's all pretty straight forward. Definitely have an answer for the question why do you wanna work at Burger King? Then you have a 30 minute analytical interview. All the questions I listed below are what I was asked. It wasn't too bad. Then, if you are invited, you get flown out to their HQ in Miami. Apparently, they have about 7 "super days". Prior to arriving, they had us write a 1 minute speech about why they should hire you and why burger king. The night before you have a social outing where you just meet some of the full time employees and other candidates. Here is the SCHEDULE for the super day: 8am-8:45am: talk about the day and learn about the company in a conference room with some of their employees. They're were about 30 of us in total. There were a lot of students from great schools including Cornell, Princeton, Northwestern, Illinois, Michigan, Duke, U of Chicago, Yale. 9am-11am: business game. We were divided up into 6 teams and put into teams (Asia, Africa, N. America, S. America, Europe, Western Europe). We then had to "grow" the BK business and decide on things such as raising or decreasing the the price, increasing/decreasing the # of workers, and increasing/decreasing advertising/marketing. While you work in teams to figure out, two BK workers are there to evaluate you and see how your work in teams, etc. 11:10am-12pm you have 5 speed interviews that are 10 minutes each with random BK employees. They are mostly behavioral. 12-1pm is lunch. 1-1:45pm is where you have an in depth interview of 30 minutes and then a 15 minute case interview with a different employee. The case question was "We are considering introducing a Southwest Chicken item on the value menu. How would you go about seeing if we should do this. I said stuff like a focus group in the beginning, then push it out to the corporate stores and compare with other stores in the region. Also do a survey, etc. I had never done a case before and it wasn't that bad. At 2pm they give you a tour of the office which is cool. We walked right by the CEO. At 2:30, the have the "Mid Interview Qualifier". Based on your performance through the day, they decide to either have you move on to the "EVP Crossfire" or not. If not, you are sent back to the airport in a shuttle bus from their HQ. The EVP Crossfire is where you give your 1 minute speech and the Executives also ask you some questions. I didn't make it to this part of the day.

      Entrevista

The interview process is almost exactly like what others have described on here. However, on the superday that I attended, there was only 2 parts: the business simulation game and panel interviews (if you were chosen to continue forward). They cut about 80% of the interviewees after lunch...some of which were REALLY smart kids from prestigious universities that seemed to do really well during the business simulation. I was chosen to continue forward to panel interviews with the other three candidates remaining. My two cents about the business simulation: Clearly, based on observation, this company is not looking for the kid that can show off how impressive they are with numbers. They're also not looking for someone that is a rash decision maker, a loudmouth, or someone that would rather work alone than be open within a group setting. TALK through the simulation as much as you can. COLLABORATE with the other members. Ask them questions and make smart, rational decisions TOGETHER. Compliment other people's ideas, but don't be afraid to present your own. Notice how most of the reviews on here mention that the employees supposed to be observing you are on their phone. This is clearly a test. Although it may appear to be incredibly rude and distracting, ignore them and focus on how to showcase how well you work with a team because they're 100% listening and taking notes. As for the panel, study the questions on Glassdoor, seriously. Every single question the C-level executives asked is featured here by some previous interviewee. Yes, they put you under pressure- it's clearly a test. Keep your cool and really show them how you rationally work through solving the brain teasers that they ask. If you don't know the answer to a question, they won't bite. A lot of these reviews make it seem like the panel executives were mean hearted and out to get you lol. They're actually really nice, and you could definitely tell they had a sense of humor. Play along with it and try to relax is all I can really say. My best pieces of advice: 1. be yo self. 2. familiarize yourself with what to expect on superday so you don't have a panic attack when you're answering rapid fire questions.

They asked me questions about my primary school, like the biggest challenge, best memories... Same questions for high school, and related to past experiences. The interviewer will stay in silence the whole process but to ask questions, not very friendly

      Entrevista

It's a pretty long interview process. My first interview was via Skype with a current employer (who actually attended my university). It was all behavioral with the general "why BK?" question here and there. Oddly, most of the questions are about your high school experiences, so be prepared for that throwback. Second interview is another Skype interview with a different employee. It was a case interview and mine was about pricing strategies. There is no specific right answer, you just need to backup your logic and talk out loud while thinking. If you make it past those two rounds, then you are invited for their Superday on site. It will be a mixture of students applying for full time and for the internship. My super day had 15 students and they supposed have one every 2 weeks for the Fall Semester, so they have a lot. The first half of my day was a business simulation where we worked in groups of fives. There are observers at your table watching how you interact and it is very easy who the leaders are during this process. After that, you will break for lunch and tour. This is the awkward part... After lunch they will call you out 2-by-2 to send you home. Luckily, I moved on and could participate in the final final round - the crossfire. A crossfire is when you sit with the other students who made it to the final round and you are asked a whole bunch of random questions to catch you off guard. There really isn't a way to prepare for that. Just be honest and confident.
