My first interview was 30 minutes long over Skype with someone who works in an R&D role at Cargil. The questions were your typical HR ones. It wasn't the most personable interview but it wasn't difficult. They are more or less looking to see if your personality can fit in their work environment. The person conducting the interview was pleasant and open to my questions. I am set to move forward to the final round of interviews.

There were two rounds of interviews, one at my university, and the second at the R&D offices in Minneapolis. Both were with R&D scientists and only the first round included technical questions.
