Candidatei-me por meio de recrutador(a). O processo levou 1 dia. Fui entrevistado pela GE (Edmonton, AB) em mar. de 2012
Entrevista
There were two people interviewing. The main person was the team lead/project owner, and the other was the lead front-end developer for the given team (although the developer wasn't brought in until halfway through). The team lead started with the typical "tell me about yourself", and then got into the details of the project. Halfway through, the developer came in and asked some technical questions about querying the DOM and what not. Funny enough, I wasn't able to answer some of the technical questions, but my portfolio was enough to demonstrate that I was more than capable of doing what was required so it wasn't so bad. Overall the interview took about 1 hour, and there was only one interview before I was contacted about getting the position. I felt as though they were looking for looking for personality just as much as someone who could fit the role, which was nice.

The process started with an unusual interview with the hiring manager who was checking boxes it seemed. Not much substance but I stayed on Bc was hoping to learn more. Manager said I would hear from recruiter the following week but it lapsed 30 days. When I finally heard from recruiter, the questions were very basic in nature and I still had a hard time getting more substance. I was to be highly recommended at the end of the phone call and then the recruiter called me back in short order and pulled the plug saying basically don't call us your salary isn't in our range. I was very interested in learning more about the role so this was disappointing considering they were talking lining up the actual in- person interviews. I left feeling very used.
