Entrevista
Recruiter reached out via LinkedIn in December, set up a phone call, sent me two positions, sent in my resume and then one of the hiring managers asked for a very simple take home coding project. Completed the project but was informed they wanted to continue with another candidate. Recruiter reached out again a month or so later with another position, set up a conversation with the hiring manager and we went over details about the product, team and day to day. The hiring manager asked a few questions about my experience and one or two technical questions just off the top of his head. Finally had a last round with hiring manager, two team mates and the engineering manager. 50% of the time was spent letting me ask questions, talking about the day to day and previous experience, the other 50% was a LC easy type programming question and more object oriented technical questions. Extremely relaxed environment and they made sure I was very comfortable for all rounds including technical.
I was contacted by the interviewer by email. She got my email from my Linkedin. We had one interview and then three months after they replied me saying that they have reviewed my application and it will no longer be considered. It was a really nice interview though very conducive environment. It was more like a friend chat and that made me very relaxed and confident.
Straightforward, not too difficult. Feedback was pretty quick. The recruiter got back to me within a week or so. Overall it was an enjoyable experience. To be or not to be?
First round is a general call with recruiter, just chat about your experience and about the role.
Second is a 1hr semi technical interview with hiring manager. Goes over your CV, experience, stuff related to the role.
Third is a Technical take home test.
Fourth and final is a review of technical take home test with Hiring manager and senior devs.
