As Glassdoor is still a smaller company, the overall process was more flexible and personal. Interviews were conducted in multiple steps. First an informal meeting with a tech leader to cover interest and fit. Then, a product manager interviewed to discuss the company directions and their interaction with Engineering. They have a close working relationship and the Product Manager wants to also establish fit with new Engineering leaders. Next up was an interview with a senior engineering leader to discuss roles, experience, culture fit, and expectations of the positions. At this point my process ended as I was seeking a more senior role than what was available at Glassdoor given my background.
