The first call was great! The recruiter was amazing at describing how the call would go and how long it would take. She was very good at putting me at ease as she walked me through each portion of the call. I let her know that it was the most professional screening call I'd ever had for a position opening. The second interview was a zoom call with one of the team members for a technical screening. He was very courteous and professional throughout the call and was also easy to talk to. The recruiter was again very helpful at explaining the when/where/how/why prior to the interview. The third and final step in the process was a panel of zoom call interviews with the Director, another team member, the leader of a related team, and a member from a related team, finally finishing up with a recap with the recruiter. Each individual was friendly, open, honest, and up-front about what they were interested in knowing. They were professional and courteous throughout each of the calls. I received prompt and glowing feedback from another recruiter shortly after my final interviews, but with a caveat that they had not yet interviewed enough people to make a hiring decision. That threw me for a loop a bit and at that point I had written the position off as unlikely. A few days later the original recruiter reached out to me to keep me in the loop and let me know they were still considering me and wanted more information regarding my pay and other requirements. She apologized for my misunderstanding, that I thought I was out of the running, and let me know I was very much still under consideration. After some back and forth regarding the position and pay we came to an agreement and they offered me the job which I promptly accepted!
