Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 4 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela LinkedIn (Londres, Inglaterra) em ago. de 2019
Entrevista
Telephone interview followed by face to face, then second face to face with a case study. I have been trying to apply endlessly and eventually got through the interview and was met with constant resistance to hire or progress. Some comments have alluded to discriminatory practices in the UK and i agree. A toxic culture. Very snobby middle class white people who are not very bright (actual bright ones follow their dreams become actors, writers or judges or run hedge funds investment banking, entrepreneurs etc), those that can't usually find a nice corporate job to slide into because they manage to get a degree (usually in non related subject like oceanography or history etc), will get fully trained by companies. And will be blocking talented people because they don't fit the mould. It typifies what has become of many companies in the UK, LinkedIn is a modern tech company silicon valley or other parts of US you will find real talent, but the US and other parts of the world is talent driven, in the UK it is not a talent based society but a class based society one that is increasingly hostile to ethnics (except Indians) and intolerant especially to black and Muslim folks, yes some are hired but real exceptional talent that makes against the odds. I have a tech and sales background well qualified with very high communication skills but not twice as good i suppose.
It was fairly straightforward and the communication was quick, timely. They were super friendly and the interview questions were basic - nothing too different from other interviews I've had. Honestly it was much more lowkey than I was expecting.
The interview process was structured and efficient. It started with a recruiter screening call, followed by a phone interview with the hiring manager. After that, there was a panel interview with multiple team members, including scenario-based sales questions and discussions around LinkedIn's products. The final stage included a role play exercise to assess communication and sales skills. Communication was consistent throughout, and they provided feedback quickly. Overall, it felt professional and fair.

Pergunta 1
Describe a time when you had to win over a hesitant client—what was your strategy?
Seemed well organised and the recruiter knew and provided a lot of key information. What was interesting is there wasn’t just a one off case study presentation. There was a case study embedded in the entire process
