I am so sad and disappointed to be writing this but, LinkedIn, DO BETTER. I was really excited when they reached out to me an initial phone interview. The recruiter was about 15 minutes late to our scheduled call time but he apologized. He was professional and informed about the role and was helpful in answering my questions. I asked how I could prepare further for the interview with the hiring manager and was told to review the "case studies". There are literally thousands of campaign case study examples of LinkedIn. This is very vague so I chose to focus and prep utilizing 3 of them and spent hours doing so. The interview with the hiring manager was disappointing. Not only was I never asked a single question about the case studies, she was cold and did not at all embody what I would have expected from a conversation with LinkedIn. I asked her what the team dynamic was and she told me and I quote that they "don't know each other". Post-interview, even though I could tell this was a bad fit, I reached out to the recruiter for the hiring manager's email so I could send a thank you note. They never responded and I never heard anything from them again. It is completely fine that I was not the right candidate for the job but this is not how you handle things. This made me really think of LinkedIn poorly and made me feel discouraged professionally.

1) HR convo, 1) written interview component (3 questions answered with a doc and sent to hiring manager), 3) 30 mins hiring manager interview, 4) case study presentation to a 3 person panel interview. Hefty data analysis compared to other companies with similar role; with 1 hour final interview (30 mins allocated to presentation). Questions were fair and prep time was adequate. Expectations were outlined fairly by HR partner.
