Entrevista
I applied online through Merck Career site and I got an interview call within 10 days. The interview was average. I was expecting a behavioral interview as seen in glassdoor interview exp but it was more technical. More than technical what I learn during graduation, they asked about my previous company experience.

Which kind of data you were using in your previous company? Anything that is not in your resume?
There were 2 technical + behavioral rounds, Most of the questions were behavioral in both the rounds. One was with hiring manager and one was with head of data science. They did not took me because I was overqualified for the position. This is the feedback I have received from HR as well.

Entrevista
Only one round of interview which is a combination of Technical and Behavioral questions based on the previous work experience and academic projects. Interview went so well and it was a perfect fit position for me. But I did not get an offer which was then explained with an answer saying "other candidate was better than me".
sometimes you need to have a strong referral more than your talent.

Technical: How do we measure accuracy of ML algorithms
Behavioral questions were based on previous experience
30 minute phone-call. Didn't waste any time and really grilled my resume but I was very prepared. Got an offer back about a week later and I started working as a data science intern.
