O processo levou 1 dia. Fui entrevistado pela Microsoft em nov. de 2009
Entrevista
This was a very positive interviewing experience. I interviewed with six different people (including a person from HR - my first interview). The HR interview seemed to be more personality and experience based - a lot of questions and jotting down of my answers. The rest of the interviews focused on determining how I fit into the role by asking problem solving questions (none of the "why are man holes round types of questions - more of - "What would you do in this typical work situation?" types of questions). It was a long day, I was very tired at the end of it, but it was a pleasant experience and I rather enjoyed the process. They have a good system in that several different people get a feel for the person.

Give me the greatest invention you think that was ever made and tell me why it's so great. It could be something as simple as a pencil.

Not a great experience with interviews taking 1 month to complete. Despite ongoing communication, the role did not move forward, reportedly due to approval constraints. The overall experience highlights a gap in aligning internal approvals before progressing candidates to advanced stages.
Clearer communication and better alignment internally would improve the candidate experience

Questions on Project Experience and Thought process
Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Microsoft (Redmond, WA).
Entrevista
The interview process is grueling and I get why people do it but its more awareness, know that you'll spend an entire day and meet several people, so it's important to be mentally and physically prepared. Eat a good breakfast but not heavy stay hydrated. This was just for a PM role it's their standard process I imagine executive level is another thing altogether

Tell me about a time you didn't agree with someone who was a stakeholder on your project and how did you handle that?
Very smooth, thoughtful interview process. It showed the recruiter really cared what I had to contribute and asked great followup clarifying questions. Would definitely recommend everyone try an interview with them even if it doesn't pan out.
