I interviewed with one software engineer at a conference. I was only offered the interview after I talked to someone at their booth about my past experience with Microsoft products (Visual Studio and AzureAD). The interview was not for a specific area of software engineering but rather just an assessment of your skills overall.
The team that I interviewed with on-site, however, was selected based on the Microsoft products that I was familiar with.

Interview Process was easy All you need is to go over System Design and microsoft tagged Leetcode Questions.
The process wasn't difficult, They Try to help you and give you hints if you are stuck and Generally very nice.

I sent in an application and then I received an invite to do an on campus interview which was a white boarding session with an engineer. It lasted 45 minutes and we only got through one question. It did not go well and so I did not proceed to the next step

Entrevista
One initial phone interview with a recruiter then a short virtual interview with a software engineer then a virtual onsite interview of 5 hours. the last interview was very long and tiring. It was very hard to go through.
