Entrevista
1st Encounter: HR person emailed to set up phone interview.
2nd Encounter: Spoke to HR person via phone for 30 minutes (fine, general "about you" questions).
3rd Encounter: Spoke to Hiring Manager via phone for 30 minutes (fine, even more general "about you" questions).
4th Encounter: Spoke to Hiring Manager via phone for 1 hour (fine, much more job-specific "what would you do in this instance?"-type questions).
5th Encounter: Spoke to a different Hiring Manager via phone who was now "taking over" from previously spoken-to Hiring Manager (we spoke for 30 minutes). This person asked the EXACT same "about you" questions from the 3rd Encounter with the first hiring manager.
6th Encounter: Automated "we're going in a different direction" email.
Overall: Respect for Dave Ramsey the godly businessman, but his team seemed amateur and not a good representation of him or his company. After my "4th Encounter," I was already telling folks: "I don't know about this place. If this is any indication how they run things, I don't want to..."
I appreciate Glassdoor Interview reviews for a heads-up as to what I'm about to encounter from companies. I hope mine helps those going for employment at Ramsey Solutions. No bitterness here, I'm just a super no-nonsense, matter-of-fact person who has been in the business world for quite some time. This process was foolishness on steroids. Best of luck!

Nothing unexpected, nothing even remotely difficult. Just on and on and on. I will say, I did get the feeling after speaking to the 2nd Hiring Manager who was asking the exact same questions I had been asked before with the 1st Hiring Manager, "Are they trying to trip me up, or see if I answer the same way as before?"
You just get a very "Am I dealing with smart people here?" feeling.

Entrevista
Initial phone screen was very quick. Researched company prior to responding to their request to speak. Did not want to believe the negative comments I had read but unfortunately they were true. Would not call them a cult per say, but discrimination is definitely present regardless if based on age, race, religion, etc.

Standard marketing questions, but when reversed and asked about company culture, the interviewer went into full defense denial-mode and proceeded to send an email instantaneously stating thank you but no thank you.
Incredibly mysoginistic and Inappropriate. Was asked too many inappropriate questions. Had to bail after being told I could never have a credit card and needed to ensure my husband signed off on me having a job.

Not sure how they haven't gotten in trouble for discrimination yet? While the process seemed very professional, I was shocked when we got to the "value" discussion. They shared their values which have religious roots -- okay fine. But to then ask questions about not having sex before marriage (which is apparently one of their values?) and ending the conversation after I did not want to disclose that information, stating I am not a good fit... Seems discriminatory to me? And a bit cult-y. Super specific workplace culture/values. Don't waste your time interviewing if you're not religious, and don't agree with everything Dave says. There doesn't seem to be much diversity of thought allowed at this company...
