I've applied and interviewed for two positions now at Ramsey and my experiences were both almost identical. First interview went very well and I had high expectations and anticipation. I was made aware of all details around the lengthy interview time-frame and communication was very good. The recruiters that I spoke with were both optimistic and indicated a time-frame from which I could expect to hear back. Follow-up after the interview lagged. I missed one call from the recruiter (not a scheduled call) in the most recent application, and I returned that call within 15 minutes. I left a voicemail. Then I left subsequent voicemails once a week for about a month. I sent subsequent emails as well. I never received a response back. From the first instance, over a month later I was notified that the recruiter no longer worked for Ramsey Solutions. Still no response from the second one, I stopped leaving messages after a month. I've spoken with others who have had almost identical experiences with Ramsey. The consensus is that they must have an overworked recruiting staff because people reflect that it is a great place to work, but takes some time and effort to get in the door.

Long and intrusive. “How’s your relationship with your wife”? “Show me your budget” “Get rid of your credit cards!” Final stage: let’s have dinner with you and your wife as a final stage and it will be the most awkward interview exchange ever. Also, on the two separate occasions where I went into HQ for interview rounds, the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said “RUN.” I was disappointed when this happened, although everything I observed and experienced confirmed that I should have walked out when I heard it the first time - believing God had another means of getting my wife and I out to Nashville. And He did!
