Applied and interviewed for enterprise software AE role. Halfway through the process they told me I would now be interviewing for a customer success AE role. My skillset was better aligned for software, hence why I applied for that role in the first place. I was confused and asked the hiring manager for clarification on why things changed, and they seemed upset that I questioned their decision. Ended up not being a fit for both parties. Nepotism is the foundation of the organization. If someone at the top is not pulling for you then it's likely not going to work out. It's not impossible to get an offer, but the odds are certainly not in your favor. Overall, great people that work there and an excellent organization. My only suggestion is that they clean up their hiring processes. You are slowly dragged along through their dispersed interviews/conversations (3-6 months minimum), and the waiting dampens any excitement to join the company. For an organization of their size, they need a better, more efficient hiring process in place.

Quite basic, three interviews, one case interview and assessment centre. It was a long process and they start their cycle slower than everyone else. That being said the interview process is not stressful and allows to be yourself
