The interview process was extremely unprofessional. The recruiter based out of Seattle called me unexpectedly while traveling, and within the first ten minutes—before even discussing my experience or the role—he asked about my base salary expectations. His exact words were, "I like to be upfront about it." As soon as I shared my expectations, he immediately dismissed me as not a good fit, without discussing my years of leadership experience or taking the time to explain the role.
