There were 3 formal rounds of interviews. The first was a generic background interview with a manager in the group the candidate was interviewing for. The second was a technical interview. The third was a panel interview in which the candidate presents a product demo in a mock customer scenario. Then salary discussion and then a very excellent onboarding trajectory. Last step when you get hired is a full background check.
