I had an initial phone screen for a Sales Strategy & Operations position within the commercial business unit. The recruiter joined 6 minutes late and the phone call started off very awkwardly with no exchange of pleasantries. She did not ask me to tell me about myself, but started with "Why Salesforce?". She asked me one more question about my ability to work with large data sets, and then a bunch of check the box questions (are you legally allowed to work in the U.S., etc.). I did not get a call back, but was surprised at how short the interview was, and that there was no real questions of substance asked. This is especially disappointing, given that I'm a big fan of Salesforce as a company.
