After the initial recruiter call, quickly got down to the interviews - two ~1 hour phone interviews (remote position) with two folks from the team. Technical, but standard stuff for this type of roll. Good discussions about tools, direction, the team, the work environment, etc. Everything seemed to go well from my perspective. Next day after the second call, got my rejection notice from the recruiter - "decided to go in a different direction" - whatever that means. Alas.
