Recruiter got in touch on LinkedIn - I’m a sales individual with 6+ years of overall experience in the industry and have been through multiple interview loops across a variety of tech companies but never seen an interview process that is so well structured and organised. Special mention and shoutout to Therese Salazar for being so genuine, efficient and communicative throughout the whole process. The interview loop comprised of 4 rounds in total:
1. Recruiter screening
2. Hiring Manager Interview -
3. Panel Interview with 2 Regional Sales Managers (includes the hiring manager!)
4. Panel Presentation with AVP and 2 RSMs - Covers topics around personal bio, recent win, testing your research skills on a specific Salesforce product and closing out with 30-60-90 plan, if you were to be hired.
Popular to the contrary belief that top tech organisations have around basing interview rounds on their company’s foundational principles, Salesforce manages to breaks the monotony in that sense and looks out suss out Salesforce core values across every level of your professional, educational and work related experiences. They genuinely take the interest to get to know the ‘real’ you outside of your resume.
Important tip: Make sure you do thorough research on their products, blogs, Glassdoor/other online resources - they are more likely to invite you into the next round if you do know your stuff and do a good job at closing the present round.
I feel like I've learned so much about Salesforce values/vision from speaking to the hiring team, and it was exciting to hear how enthusiastic and bought-in the team is to the power of Ohana culture.
Highlights for me was the interview process, industry exposure and probable career growth. The reason I decided to choose a different path was because their pay package was significantly lower the industry median for this role alongside of what I’m currently making in my present job.

I had a really positive experience interviewing for an Account Executive role at Salesforce.
I was referred by an employee and assigned to a specific hiring manager who was incredibly supportive throughout the entire process. Every stage was well-structured — I was provided with clear expectations and even examples of questions, which allowed me to prepare properly.
The timing between interviews was very reasonable (about 1–1.5 weeks), and communication was consistent. The hiring manager stayed closely involved the whole time and was genuinely helpful and professional.
Although I didn’t receive an offer and understand I wasn’t the best fit for this particular role, I’m very grateful for the level of professionalism, transparency, and support I experienced throughout the process.
Tough process. Multiple interviews with final RVP on different teams. They didn’t seem interested, almost like they already had an internal hire ready. Waste of time it seemed, oh well.
The process has three stages: first, a recruiter screen; second, an interview with the hiring manager; and finally, a panel presentation as the last round in the overall interview process.
