I found the entire interview process extremely frustrating, specifically the corporate recruiter I was working with. If it weren’t for initially having a good conversation with the hiring manager, I would have abandoned this process early on. The corporate recruiter was so incredible unprofessional. She was unresponsive for days or over a week between steps in the process. It would take 3-4 contacts from me via phone or email before I would get an answer from her as far as next steps and no explanation for the delay. She spelled my (simple) name wrong in most email communications and asked the same questions multiple times as if we had not had the conversation before. At this point it has been 2.5 weeks since I have heard from her and I reached out via email and phone 5 times in those 2.5 weeks for an update on the next steps and have not heard anything. I am assuming at this point I did not get the rope, but would have appreciated more communication throughout and more clear feedback if I was not selected rather than being ignored.
