Entrevista
The hiring process for me began first in November 2015 for the Account Manager role. At that time the a recruiter reached out to me and my conversation with her flowed very natural. I had a great first impression about Tableau, the culture and people. There after I was scheduled to have a follow up phone interview with the hiring manager. We attempted to connect possibly on 3 different times. When we finally got to speak the conversation was not as smooth as I expected. I believe he was not fully engaged and that kind of put me off. I let it be and didn't pursue the role further.
In February 2016, I was invited to look into the CSM role that was very much in line with my past customer service experience and retention role.
A recruiter called me and she was very very pleasant. I spoke to her about 45 min and she was personable and genuine. The conversation went so well ... it again sparked my interest in Tableau.
She then scheduled me with an onsite interview a few weeks later.
I went to the Austin DT office which by the way is amazing! Everyone from the Office Manager in the front desk to the IT guys who helped me set up for my demo were all so great.
The work environment is open. Everyone seemed to be enjoying their work. I saw big smiles. Immediately I felt I can get use to this.
I met with overall 4 people. 3 locally and 1 remotely. I interviewed with 2 peers in the role, the hiring manager and the director - she and I interviewed via conference call. I did the demo for the hiring manager and director. I encourage all to put in the time to learn what the product does. I understand everyone has to do the demo regardless if you are pursuing a sales job or not.
All the questions were very simple and to the point.

I thoroughly enjoyed the interview process. It was lengthly but very much worth the anticipated wait.
I was contacted by the recruiter with a phone call and followed up with an email.
Stating she had a great news to share with me. I immediately had a big smile on my face.
She sent me again the internal application.
Followed by link with a company they outsource called HIRE RIGHT.
They will reach out to all your personal and professional references.
They will look into work history, Education background and Salary.
Overall, I feel Tableau's recruiting team really took time in getting to know me and how I could be a good fit in their organization.
Today, after all the anticipated wait ... they sent me a formal job offer and I accepted it.
I couldn't be more excited and overjoyed!

Entrevista
Referred by current employee. Interview over the phone with recruiter (that had to be rescheduled because recruiter didn't show for our first meeting), phone interview with a manager, 2 video interviews with different managers, an interview with current team members, and finally a product demo with the hiring manager.
All of this to never hear back whether I received the job, even after following up with hiring manager twice.

Entrevista
Overall, quite a positive experience.
Stage 1: Screening interview with recruiter. Was asked simple questions about my experiences, why I'm interested in looking to apply, salary expectations, etc.
Stage 2: Interview with Customer Success Director and Customer Success Team Manager. Asked many questions on conflict management, experiences with customers, strengths and weaknesses, time management, etc.
Stage 3: Case study presentation. I was given a situation about a global customer, and asked to present on what I would do to engage all of the customers in different regions.
