Disorganized and inefficient process. Sourcer flaked on me three times, and did not confirm the day and time of our interview. I get an email apologizing that she's late for our call, and luckily was available to take her call. As asked on the call, I provided availability that week (Wed-Fri) to talk to the interviewer(s). I did not hear back from her or her recruiting coordinator, as mentioned. The sourcer then emails me the following Tuesday, saying that they need more availability. I provide a few more dates and times and then she says that doesn't work with the interviewer(s). After going back and forth one more time, I ask her if she can provide me with their availability and I told her that I can see what I can do. She finally gets back to me and tells me that she can do one of the times that I suggested. The recruiting coordinator follows up the next day confirming the video call.
The interviewer was nice, but the questions that I was asked didn't reflect the questions that I was sent over email nor in the sourcing screening. He said he enjoyed our conversation and encouraged me to ask the same questions to his colleague, whenever I met with her next. This was Friday at 5pm.
I emailed the recruiting team with this feedback and asked about these next steps. On Saturday, I noticed that the interviewer viewed my LinkedIn profile. On Sunday, the recruiting team said they decided to go in a different direction.
I don't regret going through this process as I was keenly aware of the inefficiencies and disorganization, though.
