The first interview was a video interview wherein you answer a given set of questions. That was fine and fun to answer since Uber's intention of doing that is to properly prepare and give your best during the video interview. That went fine until the second interview with the Marketing Manager. He was 40 minutes late for the interview, talk about professionalism! He was also insanely rude during the interview. When ever he would ask me situational questions (ie if you were given 24 hours with unlimited budget to promote Uber, how would you use it?) he would always butt in and turn down my answers. He made me feel like my answers were crap, as if I had time to actually think through my answers. I was answering at the top of my head with as much creativity as possible, but he would always point out what was wrong with my ideas. I believe he spoke more than I did during the interview and was overwhelmed with how cocky he is given Uber is still a small company (30-50 employees) in my country. I tried my best to keep cool and still be respectful. In the end, I felt very frustrated and didn't hear anything from the company, even after a polite follow up a week after the interview on the status of my application. I just assumed I didn't get the internship and glad that I didn't if I had to work with that kind of boss.
