Entrevista
One telephonic screening round with an engineer followed by one discussion with manager about the role and the project in detail. This was followed by four remote phone interviews purely on frontend modules.

Entrevista
I was told I will be having a screening round and hr told the discussion to happen in 3 days...Waited nothing happened..
After 15 days hr asked for a quick screening round which is scheduled around 10:30 PM , ( The employee is an Indian working from US)
Asked about the project details, Explained them in detail.
Not a single technical question.
And then again the asked for another discussion as there was a power cut after 28th min ( Interview was scheduled for 30 min).
Another round of 45 min of discussion, Again no technical question , Discussion was around project and technologies used etc.etc..
Not sure what she was looking or trying to extract.
Thought is waste of time

Did you switch because of compensation.
Waste of time. 4 hour work sample + 6 hours of interviews.
No discussion of the work sample or feedback on it at all.
Technical interviewers were not friendly or collaborative, spoke poor english.

Entrevista
I interviewed with a different department at Yahoo in the past, and this was equally frustrating. The interview itself was not particularly difficult, however communication from the recruiter was spotty. Shortly after the virtual onsite I received positive feedback from the team, but was told they needed more time for a decision. They then proceeded to ghost me.
