First had a phone call interview with HR, which went smooth. Second interview was technical, I failed it, partially because I was not prepared enough and partially because the code need to be written from scratch and not enough time was given. HR called back later to let me know that I did not pass.

Three Rounds, first was React Input validation and form design. Second was Leetcode style problem Easy, Third round was javascript promise chain code review. The first two were really easy the last was with the team lead, it was open ended and I think she was a tougher interview than the actual problem. It was a simple code review that I optimized but missed out on add the role "button" to a div. She emphasized accessibility at the end when I asked her how I did.

At first It was half an hour or 45 mins phone call with a couple of the team members and I believe the HR person. When one of the team hear my voice, He was surprised and told me so since he thought I was a female (due to my name) And his voice I can tell was disappointed. After this I was given a coding challenge to solve. The problem involves building a User Interface for any github repo that tells you specifically the version, the vulnerabilities, the description tells you to use github API and "any other API" I went ahead and waste my time looking into github API turned out this feature only available in GraphQL. I then use GraphQL to check turned out the information is not enough. I went ahead and did some research on google but found some solutions (either trial or limited or require some extension hacks or development) that not sure if that is what they want. I go ahead and asked the person who sent me the exercise (Bang Lee), at first he asked me to use GraphQL, then when I told him I tried but not enough data. Then he asked me to google around for some libraries. I then suspect they either trying to waste my time or just looking for someone to build this for them. I hope the first since It could be a law suit here potentially. I tried to be patient and ask them if he could just tell me either an endpoint they have already setup or what other candidates used (libraries or third party web service). He then told me to "sometimes the business requirement is very vague and we have to creatively come up with solutions" I am not sure since if you call "googling around to find some tools or libraries" to just do your homework is creative. In theory you can hire a bunch of junior developer and google for couple hours gather data for you to analyse and come up with solution.
