Well established and respected home health services company based in Medellin Colombia operating in the telephone call centers sector is seeking an experienced Full-Stack Developer to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience, with a strong focus on PHP and MySQL, as well as proficiency in Laravel. This role requires excellent English communication skills, as you will collaborate in an international environment. You will play a key role in developing robust web applications and maintaining high standards in both front-end and back-end development. This is a full time position based in Medellin Colombia.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain fullstack web applications using PHP, Laravel, and MySQL.
• Design efficient database structures and write optimized queries.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and security.
• Participate in code reviews and implement best practices for coding standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications.
• Use version control systems (Git) to manage codebase and project collaboration.

Requirements:

• Excellent English required
• College/Technical degree required
• 5+ years of experience in fullstack development.
• Strong proficiency in PHP and MySQL.
• Mandatory experience with Laravel framework.
• Experience with frontend technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (Vue.js/React/Angular preferred).
• Solid understanding of database design and optimization with MySQL.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with GitHub for version control and collaboration.
• Proficiency in working with Linux environments and scripting.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, AJAX, and JSON.

Plus Skills:

• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with cloud based services such as Azure App Services and Azure SQL.
• Exposure to continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Knowledge of deployment pipelines, containerization (e.g., Docker), and server administration
