Then proceeded to do exercises in Tableau and turn in a final workbook product. After that, had a phone interview with the hiring manager. Next, was a demo to a panel. The final stage was a presentation and 1-1 that were face to face. The rest was via webex or the phone.

The process gave me a good sense of the company, role, and team. I had a lot of opportunities to ask questions and determine if Tableau was a good fit for me, my skills, and development goals. The process was as follows: Recruiter phone screen, challenge questions to be answered in Tableau Desktop, phone interview with hiring manager, demo with panel, one-on-ones with panel participants.
