Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 3 meses. Fui entrevistado pela Unilever (Londres, Inglaterra) em nov. de 2014
Entrevista
I applied online, it took me 3-4 weeks to be interviewed in Unilever London HQ office. The first interview was with the hiring manager. He was professional and friendly. I had a relax and transparent conversation with. Some competency and behavioural questions were asked. It went well and although it was scheduled for one hour but we talked for nearly 1 hour and 40 mins. Then I was invited for 2nd panel interview with 2 senior leaders and one HR manager. Similar questions and it went quite well. Then I was told they will get back to me within a week or two. But I didn't hear anything , so I wrote to the HR asking about if this is a clear "no". HR immediately came back to me and clarified that they were very impressed and keen to work with me, they just need more time because someone was travelling.... And in the following 2-3 weeks, this HR manager actually rang me several times to talk to me without any confirmation which made me think she was reassuring I was really someone they wanted. In the end, she wrote me an email saying they have chose an internal candidate for this role , but the hiring manager still are keen to me. They are looking at another role which could potentially fits me well. and she will definitely keep me posted ..... Then, I never heard from her again. Honestly, I was quite impressed with all the people I have met during the interview. They were all very professional and friendly. But this whole process was very frustrating, it is like asking you to wait for the false hope for more than 2 month. This whole thing happened 1 year ago. And what frustrated me most was what happened after , this position has advertised several time by Unilever. So it made me think they either have very complex process to hire people (some internal politics ), or they were just publishing some positions to benchmark their internal employee with the external one. Anyway, I really have no interests to such a company who didn't treat people seriously any more.
