This was for a university placement student position! I applied with my CV and cover letter, then received an invitation to an "informal chat" which was handled by the current placement students I would be replacing. They basically asked interview questions in an "undercover" more casual way about what I think the job role entails, my experience and my strengths and favourite Unilever brand. After this, I was invited to an in-person assessment center which I was unable to attend due to travel limitations and Unilever responded with flexibility and made arrangements for me to do an online assessment center with the student I would be replacing and the person who would be my line manager. This consisted of simple excel tasks, and an innovation task in which a case-study was shared with me prior to the assessment day where I presented my ideas on an improvement I would make on any of of their products and include supply chain operations and financial details. And finally some quick math questions. After this I was offered the job as soon as the assessment center was over.

It was fairly relaxed environment. Honest direct questions about my experience and allowed me to provide insight. Professional environment the entire time. Reciprocating questions and answers with three UL employees.
