Entrevista
Sent an application with CV and cover letter. Got invited into an "interview" with Unilever, which I assumed to be a digital interview with pre-decided questions. The assessment turned out to be a game based 15 assessment. It was supposed to be "non STEM" but you definitely need to practise before doing it. The assessment asks you to do some basic calculus very fast and recognising patterns.
After the assessment I got this feedback.;
-You are able to quickly switch between tasks.
-You easily process and manipulate numerical information.
-You are quickly able to problem solve your way through most situations.
-You have the capacity to readily process complex relationships in your mind.
After this, I got rejected 24 hours later with no explanations, just an automated message. The message also said that I can't apply for Unilevers positions in a year.
I think this is just a bad way of searching for good candidates. What did I get from this assessment? I wasted my time, sent all my cover letters and other info to you, did your asssessment, got good comments back, only to get rejected by an automated email later?
The email also stated how you are not ALLOWED to take contact for Unilever recruiting team (=don't reply to us) to even ask for comments.
What I was left with was:
1. Wasted time
2. Got good results but no explanation how close I was getting to the next step
3. Banned for applying for 12 months.
