Job Summary for Warehouse & Shipping for Crown Packaging:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role involves operating forklifts, loading and unloading trucks, performing cycle counts, and handling materials for shipment. The ideal candidate will have basic computer skills and be comfortable using MS Word, Excel, and Outlook to maintain accurate records. Additionally, this position requires maintaining a clean and organized warehouse while working closely with Customer Service and Purchasing to track paperwork and orders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring accuracy and care with all shipments.
• Conduct cycle counts and inventory checks to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Pick, weigh, and prepare materials for shipment according to company procedures.
• Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for documentation and communication.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization, including sweeping, trash removal, and general upkeep.
• Collaborate with Customer Service and Purchasing teams to ensure paperwork and order accuracy.
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures to ensure a secure work environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials and documentation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
